NATIONAL COFEE PARK
- ational Coffee Park (Parque Nacional del Café) is a theme park located in the department of Quindío, Colombia, 4 km south-west of the town of Montenegro and 11 km west of the departmental capital city Armenia. The park can be reached from a cable car, offers attractions orchid animatronics colorful, global coffee garden, a roller coaster, food stalls based on coffee, Colombian folk architecture, and other attractions, totaling 22 attractions at the end of 2009. The park was founded in 1995 by the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia (La Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia) and the Departmental Committee of Coffee Growers of Quindío (El Comité Departamental de Cafeteros del Quindío).
SALENTO, QUINDIO
Salento is a town and municipality in the north-east of the department of Quindío, Colombia. The municipality covers an area of 377.67 km2.[2] It was the first settlement in Quindío of the modern era, and the first municipality founded in the department. The town of Salento itself is located 24 km northeast of the departmental capital Armenia. In 2005 the municipality of Salento had an estimated population of 7247, of which 3597 lived in the main urban zone.[1]
The main route from Popayán and Cali to Bogotá used to pass through Salento (see below), but when the route was diverted the town became isolated and did not develop as rapidly as the rest of the region. For this reason it has retained more of its traditional colonial architecture than almost any other town in the eje cafetero, along with a quiet and relaxed way of life, and as a result the town and nearby Cocora valley are among the most popular tourist destinations in Colombia.

The Cocora valley (Spanish: Valle de Cocora) is a valley in the department of Quindío in the country of Colombia. It is located in the Central Cordillera of the Andean mountains. "Cocora" was the name of a Quimbayan princess, daughter of the local chief Acaime, and means "star of water" (Spanish: estrella de agua). The valley is part of the Los Nevados National Natural Park, incorporated into the existing national park by the Colombian government in 1985. It is the principal location of the national tree and symbol of Colombia, the Quindío wax palm (Ceroxylon quindiuense), as well as a wide variety of other flora and fauna (some endangered), all of which are protected under the park's national status.

MONTENEGRO, QUINDIO
Montenegro (Spanish pronunciation: [monteˈneɣɾo]) is a municipality in the western part of the department of Quindío, Colombia. It is located 10 km west of the departmental capital Armenia.
Montenegro (literally: Black Mountain) was named for the dark green color of the trees that originally covered the hill above the current-day site of the township, which was visible from other parts of the region as it rose above the surrounding guadua forests. Between 1897 and 1904, Montenegro was officially known as Villa Quindío.
The boundaries of Montenegro are principally formed by three rivers. To the north, the Roble River forms the limit with Quimbaya; to the east and south, the Espejo River forms the limit with Armenia and La Tebaida; and to the west La Vieja River is the limit with the neighboring department of Valle del Cauca.

PANACA
PANACA (Spanish: Parque Nacional De La Cultura Agropecuaria) is a farming theme park that promotes contact between humans and nature, intended for those who live in the city and to create awareness about nature. The park was created in Quimbaya, in the Coffee Area of Colombia by a group of businessmen in 1990, and today, is one of the biggest agricultural parks in the country.

THE LIGHTING OF QUIMBAYA

The Park of Life

The Free Cemetery of Circasia
The Free Cemetery of Circasia is located on the outskirts of the municipality on the way to Montenegro. It was established in 1933 by Braulio Botero as a place where anyone could be buried, regardless of their religious beliefs or lack thereof.
The cemetery is today a symbol of freedom and equality. In the last years has had some small arrangements, since in the earthquake of 1999 that affected much of the coffee axis the cemetery had some damages outside and inside.
